Management team

httv employs a large team of skilled engineers highly specialised in interactive TV and expert on most middlewares, IPTV and OTT. The technical team is structured in 7 areas of competences: Authoring tools, Production/playout, Broadcasting server, Middleware, Enhanced TV, Return path management, Transactional servers.

These broad competences enable httv to provide end to end solutions in any related issues of the broadcast chain.

Bernard Dupin - President

Bernard Dupin

Bernard is one of the most experienced iTV specialists in Europe.
With Canal+ group between 1993 and 1996, he was involved, in the conception and the implementation of Mediahighway middleware and in the development of the very first iTV applications on Canalsatellite.
In 1997-98, he developed TPS' EPG for OpenTV.
In 1999, he creates httv.

Régis Saint Girons - CEO

Régis Saint Girons

Régis Saint Girons is a key figure of the middleware and digital TV industry with more than 20 years of experience.                                                                                                          He has joined httv as new CEO in August 2012. Since 2013 Mr. Saint Girons is also, the president of the HD Forum as well as the co-marketing chairman of the HbbTV association.
He has previously served as Senior Vice President OpenTV for NAGRA, a Kudelski group company.Prior to NAGRA, Régis Saint Girons was one of the OpenTV co-founder, a joint-venture between Thomson Consumer Electronics and Sun Microsystem. As its European General Manager, Régis was instrumental in positioning OpenTV as a Digital TV middleware world leader. Before that, Régis Saint Girons lead Thomson Research & Development laboratory in Los Angeles during 8 years. He positioned MPEG as the Digital TV solution for DirectTV and ACTV, the US HDTV standard.

Laurent Etienne - CTO

Laurent Etienne

Laurent is an engineer with 15 years of experience in the digital television field.
Laurent started off developing a MPEG2 encoding software and never left the iTV industry since. From 1996, Laurent participates in the roll-out of interactivity on Canalsatellite.
In 1997, he joins the world leader in interactive TV middleware, OpenTV™, to deploy iTV in France and in Europe.
He co-founds httv in 1999.
